April 12th, 2022

Comedy legend and Salford local Jason Manford is set to host an intimate charity gig at Manchester’s Spinningfields bar, The Oast House, this Easter Bank Holiday Monday (18 April 2022) in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The star will be joined at the festival-style event – Howl For The Bowel – by a host of big-name support acts from the world of comedy and music, including recently announced radio host and actor, Craig Charles, who will perform a live DJ set.

Only a limited number of tickets are available for this exclusive and intimate event, and the first release has already sold out. Last remaining tickets, priced at £40, can be purchased at https://theoasthouse.uk.com/howlforthebowel - but you’ll need to be quick! In memory of Jason’s long-time friend Michelle Mullane, a former XFM and Key 103 radio presenter who recently passed away from bowel cancer at the age of 50, the gig was originally due to be hosted in 2020 however COVID-19 restrictions postponed plans for which the revised date poignantly marks what would have been Michelle’s birthday.

All profits from ticket sales and fundraising will be donated to Cancer Research UK. The doors to this open-air event, will open from 5pm, with additional entertainment from The Oast House’s resident DJ’s.
